We sold “peace, joy, love,” skipped the weight of the fall,
Gave sunshine sermons, never mentioned the law.
If I preach the cure before you know what’s wrong,
Mercy sounds cheap and the cross ain’t strong.
Bring the mirror where excuses die,
Ten words like thunder, every mouth runs dry.
When pride hits truth, then mercy lands,
Now the cross is a lifeline, not a brand.
“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul,”
breaks the pride to pieces, makes the wounded whole.
Law then grace!
Shine the commandments, then lift up the Lamb,
When sin is seen for what it is, Glory to “I AM!”
Schoolmaster to the cross, now faith takes hold,
Trust in Christ!
Jesus paid the debt we could never pay ourselves.
I sped past warnings sayin’, “I’m doin’ fine,”
But judgment clocked my heart way over the line.
The gavel drops, justice must be done,
Then Love steps forward: “The fine’s paid, Son.”
Not a license for sin, but a ransom’s call
Repent and believe, lay down your all.
No counterfeit grace, no plastic crown,
Real faith obeys, put the idols down.

We run to Christ, the Judge who pays the fee,
He nailed our debt and sets the captives free!
Saints, don’t sell a cure to those who “feel no need,”
First show the wound, why the heart must bleed.
Start with common ground, then Scripture true,
Let conscience witness what it always knew.
When guilt meets grace, the cross burns bright,
And power for living rises in the light.
Not just decisions—disciples made,
Law, then grace, see the fear of man fade.
