IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ FIRST:
Some details may have changed since you signed up.
Due to the difficulties in planning an outreach to the other side of the world, there is only so much we can help with.
A local church in London has been working on finding some families who can help billet us.
This is proving to be quite the challenge.
The main outreach will be on the Friday or Saturday. Make sure your flights arrive before and after these days.
We plan to still meet at a central location the day before, but we will send you a supply of Coronation tracts free of charge before leaving for London.
It will be up to you to make ALL other arrangements. (Flights, Accommodation, Food, Travel, Insurance etc)
Since it's a long way to travel, you may wish to stay in England longer. Booking your own flights means you can travel when it best suits you.
As mentioned, we have folks in London who were hoping to billet us for the outreach weekend, however this may or may not happen. You must be prepared to look after ALL accommodation yourself if necessary.
We will, where practical, share helpful information to make the trip easier for you.
For example,
check here to see if you need a visa to enter the UK.
Your first priority should be to make sure you have sufficient funds for the trip, then book tickets early. The longer you wait the more expensive they will become. Travel insurance is a must.
As we get more information, we will share it via email.
P.S, Although we hope to help co-ordinate some details around the outreach, you must be aware that all travel, accommodation, food, and safety is YOUR responsibility. London is a long way from home, and there are various risks that come with overseas travel. We cannot be your travel agent, insurance broker, immigration officer, doctor, security guard, pastor, or taxi.
With all this said, we really look forward to serving with you in London.
Important Questions
NOTE: Organising an outreach to London is a mammoth task. We need to know the following information. Please be specific and thorough, as we don't want to have to go back and forth getting extra details with 2 dozen different people.
Our Australian agency is run by volunteers, so our time is quite limited. Thanks for your understanding.
